A recent report published by Hacker News (http://thehackernews.com/2015/11/vpn-hacking.html) released their findings about a vulnerability present in some major VPN providers. The vulnerability left VPNs utilizing port-forwarding open to a specific kind of attack that could leak a user's real IP address. This can compromise the privacy and security users are looking for when using a VPN service.
